We are now offering a self‑employed chair rental opportunity for an experienced stylist who wants to grow their own business within a supportive, professional, and beautifully grounded salon environment.
About the Chair Rental Arrangement
This is not an employed role. It is a self‑employed business opportunity for a stylist who wants autonomy, flexibility, and the ability to build and nurture their own clientele while working within an established, reputable salon.
As part of the rental agreement:
- Insight Professional will be the required colour and care line (stock is provided by the salon and reflected in the rental price)
- You will bring and use your own hairdressing equipment (scissors, electricals, brushes, tools, etc.)
- You will manage your own diary, pricing, payments, and client relationships
- You will operate as an independent business, responsible for your own tax, insurance, and professional compliance
- You will contribute to maintaining a calm, clean, and respectful salon environment
- You will have access to a beautifully curated space with a strong existing client base and a values‑led brand identity
Role Description
As a self‑employed stylist renting a chair at Rerooted Hair, you will:
- Provide cutting, colouring, styling, and treatment services with care and precision
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and create personalised results
- Recommend suitable styles and Insight Professional products
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, professionalism, and client care
- Manage your own bookings, payments, and business administration
- Contribute positively to the salon’s warm, inclusive, eco‑conscious atmosphere
