- Maintain animal health and welfare: Ensure all pigs are fed the correct diets, have access to clean water, and are treated for any sick or injured animals.
- Daily husbandry duties: Carry out daily husbandry duties to a consistently high standard, including feeding, watering, and administering treatments.
- Production performance support: Support strong production performance through attentive stock care and contribute to team discussions and farm operations.
- Team collaboration: Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team, providing cover during staff holidays and absences.
- Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and external partners, demonstrating reliability, punctuality, integrity, and alignment with company values.
- Day-to-day duties: Feed pigs the correct diets, ensure continuous access to clean water, and maintain optimal environmental conditions.
- Health and safety: Take responsibility for your own health and safety, and that of your colleagues, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Work overtime: Be prepared to work overtime, including regular weekends, as and when required.
