Essential Requirements
Before applying, please ensure you have:
- A full UK driving licence
- At least 3 years' experience in a customer-facing role (field sales, merchandising, retail, FMCG or account management experience is advantageous)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to work independently, manage your own workload and plan your daily route
- Basic IT skills, including confidence using a tablet and Microsoft Office

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Field Sales Representative to join our South Wales team.
The Role
This is far more than a traditional sales role. You'll be responsible for developing existing customer relationships through outstanding service, merchandising, and identifying opportunities to grow each account.
As the face of DSL in your territory, you'll manage your own schedule, visit customers across South East England, and ensure our products are always presented to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit existing customers on a planned call cycle
- Merchandise, replenish and rotate stock to maximise sales
- Maintain clean, well-presented product displays
- Collect returns and manage stock where required
- Identify opportunities to increase product range and sales within existing accounts
- Build strong, lasting relationships with store owners and colleagues
- Complete daily reporting using a company tablet
- Represent DSL professionally and deliver outstanding customer service at every visit

- Comfortable working independently and managing their own territory
- Proactive, reliable and able to solve problems effectively
- Passionate about delivering excellent service while growing customer accounts
Experience within field sales, merchandising, FMCG, retail, convenience or account management would be an advantage, but strong customer service experience and the right attitude are equally important.
