Post: Property Manager (Residential)

Location: Kentish Town, London NW5
Salary: £ 27,000 to £30,000 pa(Depending on Experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm
Responsibility to: Principal APT Manager.
Profile: Property Management, Administrative Support, Executive Management Support, Front Office, Customer Service, Records Management, Database Management.
Purpose of the job
To provide a comprehensive property management and administrative support service to the APT Management Department. The post holder requires excellent organisational skills, must be flexible and able to consistently demonstrate a high professional approach with a strong work ethic.
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in Assured Shorthold Tenancy property management role, including handling maintenance & repair coordination
Duties include:
- Assisting with the management of a residential rental portfolio
- Supporting with maintenance coordination and liaising with contractors
- Conducting property inspections and helping produce reports
- Communicating with landlords and tenants to resolve queries
- Arranging Inventories, and dealing with deposit procedures
- Ensuring records and compliance information are accurately maintained
- Provide high quality of customer service
- Maintain and update any certifications
- Assist Senior APT Manager as needed on special projects.
- Dealing with tenancy life cycle administration
Experience/skill set to include:
- Must have a good understanding of residential lettings management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and develop within the property sector
- Excellent organisational and time management
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a busy team environment
- Confident and professional manner when dealing with clients
- Preferable full UK driving licence
- Familiarity with facilities operations
- Excellent customer service & efficient and effective use of grammar
- Strong ability to work independently; Ability to research and problem solve
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail
- Honest, reliable and friendly/outgoing personality with a can-do attitude.
