Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Safely operate a van or delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods across multiple drop-off points.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, including heavy lifting when necessary, while following proper handling procedures.
- Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures or proof of delivery, and update delivery records accurately.
- Communicate clearly with customers upon arrival, answer any questions professionally, and provide excellent customer service.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays encountered during routes.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving multi-drop routes is preferred.
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record; experience driving vans or commercial vehicles is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of local roads and navigation tools to optimize delivery routes.
- Warehouse experience is a plus, especially familiarity with heavy lifting and inventory handling.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy packages and standing for extended periods.
