Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to oversee our kitchen and to breathe new life in to our kitchen.
The ideal candidate(s) will possess a deep understanding of food production and culinary techniques and play a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences while managing kitchen operations.
Duties
- Lead and manage the kitchen, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences.
- Supervise any kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen at all times.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to maximise profitability without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of food production techniques, menu planning, and kitchen management practices.
- Excellent culinary skills with creativity in food presentation and flavour combinations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and front-of-house staff.
- A passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences for guests.

Ideally looking for two chefs to work split shifts as kitchen is open 9:30am until 9pm daily in the summer
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
