Founded in 1988, Ashton House Nursery specialise in outdoor childcare for children aged between 0 and 5 years, as well as out-of-school clubs. Awarded outstanding by OFSTED and accredited by the Forest School Association (FSA), Ashton House Nursery run forest school sessions in on-site woodlands at both Ashton Hayes and Frodsham sites where our unrivalled, substantial natural space is abundant and encourages children to explore nature and take risks in a safe environment, to further develop their resilience, self-belief and character.
Ashton House Nursery are looking for a committed and enthusiastic cleaner, to join their experienced and friendly maintenance team.
Main responsibilities include:
- Vacuuming, brushing & mopping the floors
- Emptying the rubbish bins
- Cleaning the nursery & staff toilets
- Replenishing consumable items if required
- Clean inside windows
- Mix & dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately
Essential Skills:
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment
- Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
- Excellent communication skills & the ability to work as a team
- Self motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision

Shift pattern:
Ashton Hayes – Thursday, Friday 6pm-8pm.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £8.30-£13.00 per hour
