We're looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated Senior Care Assistants / Residential Support Workers to join our growing team in Grimsby. About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting individuals to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing personalised care and support tailored to each individual's needs.
Assisting with personal care while promoting dignity, respect, choice, and independence.
Building positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
Encouraging confidence, independence, and the development of everyday life skills.
Organising and participating in meaningful activities, outings, and therapeutic experiences.
Supporting individuals with behaviours that may challenge using positive and proactive approaches.
Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues, families, and professionals.
Working as part of a dedicated team to ensure safe, consistent, and high-quality care at all times.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 6 months' experience in a care or support role.
A caring, compassionate, patient, and professional approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children and adults to achieve positive outcomes.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential.
