Titon is currently seeking a reliable and adaptable Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. While this role requires flexibility to work across all areas of the factory and wider production environment, the immediate requirement is within our Paint Plant Team. Salary £28,500 (equivalent to £13.70 per hour for 40 hours each week, Monday to Friday 7 to 3pm)
The Paint Team prepare and powder paint a variety of surfaces (including steel, aluminium, uncoated metal) and apply protective powder coatings to our finished products, including window and door fittings and larger products. It is a fast-paced paint shop, with a variety of colours and types of material, supplying three assembly areas.
The role has physical demands and a requirement to stand for a large amount of the day in order to: · Load items onto conveyor/jigging up/hand spray, examine products to ensure they meet the required standards and maintain high quality, follow correct procedures when operating machines and raising quality concerns immediately to ensure all products meet the required standards.
You will need to:
Be able to work to process
Understand (with training) both hand spray and auto booth processes
Strong attention to detail
Reliable, good timekeeping and a 'can do, want to do' attitude
