RJS Resourcing is recruiting experienced and compassionate Community Carers to support a well-established care provider on a long-term agency basis. Shifts throughout Cornwall including Penzance, Truro and Falmouth (travel time paid from home to start of shift also)
What's on Offer?
- £14.00 per hour weekdays
- £17.00 per hour weekends
- Weekly pay plus holiday pay accrued on top.
- Mileage paid and travel time also
- Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays.
- Flexible shift patterns including:
- 6:30/7:00am – 2:00pm
- 4:00pm – 10:00pm
- Some 12-hour shifts available.
- Ongoing support and training.
- Refresher training provided for mandatory courses including:
- Manual Handling
- First Aid
- Infection Control
- DBS paid for by the company.

The Role
As part of the Rapid Response Team, you'll provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Duties include:
- Delivering personal care with dignity and respect.
- Supporting with medication and meal preparation.
- Assisting with household tasks where required.
- Accompanying clients to appointments and within the community.
- Promoting independence and wellbeing.
- Building positive relationships with service users and their families.
- Responding to the changing needs of the service and providing flexible support.
About You
We're looking for caring individuals who are passionate about making a difference.
You'll need:
- Previous care experience in areas such as community care, domiciliary care, hospitals, supported living, nursing homes or live-in care.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- A flexible attitude to meet the changing needs of the service.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Up-to-date mandatory training is desirable, although refresher training can be provided.
