Job Description
Experienced Auto door/Industrial Door Engineer required.
Job Role: Working as the lead engineer to undertake installations, repairs and maintenance to the following products: Auto doors, Roller Shutters, Industrial Doors, Sectional Overhead Doors, Fire Rated Shutters, Steel Hinged Doors and PVC Strip Curtains. There will be a degree of travel regionally and possibly some nationally. On very rare occasions this may include working away from home, all accommodation and meals will be paid for by the company. We expect you to promote products and work in a professional manner at all times, adhering to all H&S procedures.
The emphasis of your role is split into these main areas:
- You will be the lead engineer in a Service, Repair and Installations, working on your own and as a team.
Key Performance Indicators
- Work sheets submitted following the completion of all work.
- The times allocated to Service, Repair & Installation jobs are achieved.
- Van stocks are monitored and kept in a clean and tidy condition.
Skills, Education and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years served in the door industry.
- Full UK Driver’s Licence.
- All relevant Cards/certificates (CSCS card, PASMA, Working at Heights, manual handling, asbestos awareness). Not all are mandatory.

- Company Van provided
- All Electrical and hand Tools provided
- PPE provided and Company Uniform Provided.
- Product training where necessary is provided. Full UK Driving Licence will need to be obtained prior to your employment commencing.
