As a Care Assistant for Shirecare you will be delivering personal care to each of our service users. Your daily tasks will include supporting them with washing, dressing, eating and maintaining their personal hygiene. You will also be actively encouraged to make them as happy and as independent as they can possibly be, whilst remaining in their own homes. This will see you providing care, kindness and compassion to help make a difference. You will develop relationships with our service users and in many cases their relatives, which will support you in understanding their needs more accurately, which will help to develop that personal touch.
