We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Baker to join the WatchHouse team - someone who genuinely loves bakery craft, takes pride in producing exceptional products, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You will have previous professional kitchen or bakery experience, a strong understanding of quality and consistency, and the ability to follow recipes and specifications with precision and diligence. Most importantly, you care deeply about the final product and the experience it creates for our guests.
In this role, you will take ownership of the daily bakery setup and production of the WatchHouse bakery offering, ensuring every product is delivered to the highest possible standard. You will work closely with the wider kitchen team to support prep and service occasionally while helping maintain the quality, organisation, and pace of the kitchen throughout the day.
Overview of the Role

Preparing and baking the daily WatchHouse bakery offering to consistently high standards

Following bakery recipes, specifications, and production processes with precision and attention to detail

Producing a variety of savoury and sweet bakery products throughout the day

Supporting daily kitchen preparation including fillings, sauces, slicing, and ingredient prep

Assisting the kitchen team during busy brunch and service periods when required

Maintaining organisation, cleanliness, and structure across the bakery and kitchen sections

Completing cleaning schedules, including extraction cleaning and deep-clean tasks

Managing your section with pride, consistency, and accountability

Adhering to all food safety, hygiene, and best-practice kitchen procedures
