Kodiak Scotland are a forward thinking landscaping and tree surgery company based in the Renfrewshire area. Due to a period of growth we are looking to recruit a Landscaper to join our well established team.
The role will involve carrying out various hard and soft landscaping tasks on site for both domestic and commercial customers. Due to the diversity of our customers, most days are varied with a real mix of work.
Key responsibilities:
- Carrying out various hard landscaping tasks on site including but not limited to paving, walling, fencing;
- Groundswork;
- Following customer instructions;
- Maintaining a safe work environment;
- Ensuring equipment is used correctly, is maintained and stored correctly.
Requirements:
- Background in hard landscaping;
- Experience in soft landscaping would be advantageous;
- Previous experience in using landscaping equipment;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Full UK driving licence;
- Reliable, physically fit, punctual and a strong team player.
For the right candidate there will be the opportunity to undertake further training and development as well as taking on more responsibility within the role.
Rates of pay will be dependent on experience and skill level.
The yard is in a remote location, you must be able to reliably commute ideally with your own vehicle.
We would be willing to look at part time for someone studying towards a landscaping qualification.
