Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Drainage Engineer to work across a range of commercial and domestic projects, you will be responsible for attending sites to diagnose, maintain and repair drainage systems, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and to a high standard.
Typical duties will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive drainage works
- Responding to drainage breakdowns, blockages and emergency call-outs
- Undertaking drain unblocking, cleaning and repair works
- Operating drainage equipment including jetting equipment, rods and inspection tools
- Carrying out CCTV drainage surveys and identifying faults
- Investigating drainage issues and providing effective solutions
- Repairing and maintaining drainage systems including pipes, gullies, traps and associated equipment
- Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records
- Working safely in line with company procedures and industry regulations
- Providing excellent customer service across commercial client sites
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Drainage Engineer / Drainage Technician
- Experience within commercial drainage maintenance environments
- Knowledge of drainage systems, repairs and fault finding
- Experience using drainage equipment including jetting units and CCTV survey equipment
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
- Full UK Driving Licence
