Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner Level 3 Early Years Qualified to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
- Supervise and support children during daily routines, including playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Observe and assess individual children’s progress, documenting developmental milestones and sharing updates with parents and colleagues
- Collaborate with team members to develop tailored learning plans that meet each child's unique needs
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to provide updates on their child's progress and address any concerns
- Lead by example in demonstrating best practices in childcare, management, and leadership within the nursery setting
Skills
- Strong management skills to coordinate daily activities and oversee team members effectively
- Proven leadership abilities to motivate colleagues and foster a positive team environment
- Extensive experience working with children in early childhood settings or nurseries
- In-depth knowledge of childcare practices, early childhood education principles, and safeguarding procedures
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations while maintaining professionalism and patience
