We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Nursery Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team in Lisburn.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and enjoys supporting children as they learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
The role is available on a full-time basis. Full-time hours are 36 hours per week over 4 days, with working patterns to be discussed at interview.
Essential:
Applicants should have an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare and Education, or be willing to work towards this qualification. Essential Skills in English, Maths, and ICT, or equivalent qualifications, are required, and proof must be provided.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over in line with minimum standards. Previous nursery experience is preferred, although a positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine passion for working with children are equally important.
Those working 21 hours or more per week in a childcare setting may also be eligible to complete their qualification through the Apprenticeship NI programme.
We are looking for someone who is caring, dependable, and works well as part of a team, with a strong commitment to supporting children during their early years.
