Job Summary
Ms Broom Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable Domestic Cleaner to join our growing professional cleaning team covering North Leeds (LS8, LS16 & LS17).
We are seeking cleaners who take pride in delivering exceptional results and outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for providing high-quality domestic cleaning services in customers' homes while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, reliability and attention to detail.
This is an hourly-paid position, with work allocated based on customer bookings. We operate 7 days a week, offering flexible working hours depending on your availability and business demand.
Applicants who live in or close to Roundhay, Alwoodley, Moortown, Adel, Cookridge, Horsforth or Shadwell are encouraged to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality domestic cleaning services to customers' homes.
- Complete regular cleaning, deep cleaning, end of tenancy, move-in/move-out and home support services.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas to a professional standard.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, polish and sanitise all required areas.
- Clean internal windows, ovens and fridges/freezers when booked.
- Follow Ms Broom cleaning checklists and company standards.
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and responsibly.
- Respect customers' homes, belongings and privacy at all times.
- Communicate professionally with customers and the office.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages or concerns promptly.
- Travel between customer appointments within your allocated service area.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Previous professional domestic cleaning experience (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Experience carrying out a variety of domestic cleaning services.
- Access to a reliable vehicle.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Smartphone with internet access.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Honest, trustworthy and dependable.
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
- Friendly, professional and customer-focused.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual cleaning duties.
Desirable
- Experience with end-of-tenancy and deep cleaning.
- Previous employment with a professional cleaning company.
- Knowledge of safe use of professional cleaning products.
