Castium Ltd is seeking a reliable and hardworking Decontamination Technician to join our team.
This is a specialist cleaning role involving the decontamination of scientific and technical facilities across the UK. No previous decontamination experience is required, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out specialist cleaning and decontamination of scientific facilities and equipment.
- Follow detailed cleaning procedures and site-specific instructions.
- Use specialist cleaning products, equipment, and PPE safely and correctly.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Comply with all health and safety procedures.
- Travel to customer sites throughout the UK, with overnight stays when required. (Company vehicles and accommodation provided)
Requirements
- A positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual work.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.Due to our insurance requirements, applicants must not have any convictions for drink driving, drug driving, dangerous driving, or other serious motoring offences. A driving licence check may be carried out as part of the recruitment process.
