Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to work alongside the security team at the football ground.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through effective surveillance, access control, crowd management and excellent customer service.
You will need to be available for every home game throughout the season. Additional ad hoc work may also become available when required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entrance and exit points to control access and prevent unauthorised entry
- Check identification and enforce venue policies
- Manage crowd control during events and busy periods
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies
- Maintain a visible security presence to promote a safe environment for visitors and staff
- Complete detailed incident reports where required
- Work closely with other members of the security team to ensure smooth operations
- Carry out bag searches, personnel searches and pat-downs
- Deal professionally and calmly with challenging situations
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence – essential
- Previous security or door supervision experience is desirable
- Strong observational skills and the ability to identify potential security concerns
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and approachable manner
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with difficult situations tactfully
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and event days
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be able to speak and understand English
