What You’ll Be Doing
The Van Driver & Warehouse Operative plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our business by carrying out regular van runs between our nearby production and warehouse sites in Avonmouth. The role is responsible for the timely movement of raw materials and finished goods between sites (all within approximately half a mile of each other), ensuring production teams have the supplies they need and finished products are returned to the warehouse efficiently.
In addition to driving responsibilities, the role includes hands-on warehouse duties such as loading and unloading, stock handling, prep of Raw Materials, forklift truck operations, and general warehouse support to maintain a safe, organised, and efficient supply chain.
- Safely carry out frequent van runs between our two Avonmouth sites to transport raw materials and finished goods.
- Ensure timely delivery and collection of materials to support daily production schedules.
- Load and unload goods from the van, ensuring correct handling, securing, and care of materials.
- Operate a counterbalance forklift truck to move stock safely within the warehouse and yard areas.
- Assist with general warehouse duties including goods-in, stock control, picking, packing, and dispatch preparation.
- Complete basic paperwork or system entries related to stock movements and deliveries as required.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the van.
The Ideal Candidate

- Driving licence: Must have a full, clean driving licence
- Skills: Basic reading, writing (for batch numbers), and basic IT skills (emails).
- Attributes: High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Essential: Counterbalance FLT licence
- Requirement: Must have the right to work in the UK (No visa sponsorship available).
