Curtain Wall & Cladding Installer

Pay: £18.00–£22.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (2–4 weeks) with the possibility of ongoing work
About the Role
We are looking for reliable and motivated Curtain Wall & Cladding Installers to join our team on the Apple Project at the UCB pharmaceutical facility in Windlesham.
The role involves fitting and installing curtain walling and cladding systems to a high standard of quality and workmanship while working safely and efficiently as part of an experienced installation team.
This project is expected to last 2–4 weeks, with the opportunity to move onto future projects for the right candidates.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay
- Starting rate: £18.00 per hour for the first week (trial period).
- Following a successful trial week, pay will be reviewed and adjusted based on experience, productivity and quality of work.
- Experienced installers can earn up to £22.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Install curtain walling and cladding systems to specification.
- Read and follow technical drawings and installation details.
- Ensure all work meets high standards of quality and workmanship.
- Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
- Work closely with site management and other trades.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience installing curtain walling, cladding or similar façade systems.
- Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card (NVQ Level 2).
- Asbestos Awareness (Category A) qualification.
- Manual Handling Awareness qualification.
- Ability to work safely at height.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
- Own tools are required.
If you do not currently hold the Asbestos Awareness or Manual Handling Awareness qualifications, training can be arranged for £50 per course.
