We're a growing engineering company with an expanding order book, and we're looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join our workshop team.
You don't need to be an engineer already. If you're practical, enjoy working with your hands and have a good attitude, we'll provide the training.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Every day is different, but your duties will include:
- Assisting our skilled engineering team with manufacturing projects
- Preparing tooling materials for machining
- Sanding, blocking up and finishing components
- Loading and unloading materials
- Keeping machinery, tools and work areas clean and organised
- Assisting with general workshop production
- Supporting deliveries when required (driving licence preferred)
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety
As your experience grows, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about CNC machining, tooling manufacture and composite engineering.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Practical and enjoys hands-on work
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Willing to learn new skills
- Positive and works well as part of a team
- Proud of producing quality work
Previous workshop or manufacturing experience is helpful, but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right person.
A full UK driving licence would be an advantage.
