Are you passionate about empowering colleagues with the skills and knowledge needed to drive a safe, efficient, and compliant operation? We are seeking an Airside Operations Trainer to join our Airside Training Team, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, delivering, and maintaining a broad range of training programmes - including technical, practical, and leadership interventions.
As an Operations Trainer, you will conduct both initial and refresher training, support competency assessments, and collaborate with internal and external partners such as Team Heathrow. Your remit will primarily focus on the Airfield Operations Department, but will also extend to the wider Operations directorate, ensuring ongoing development and operational excellence across the organisation.
This role requires you to obtain and maintain a firearms/shotgun certificate. The application process will check for evidence of disqualifying criminal convictions and also will require you to disclose information (via your GP) about your medical history to check for relevant medical conditions, which you will be responsible for obtaining. Guidance on the medical requirements for a firearms/shotgun certificate can be found on the Met Police’s website at Firearms application guidance notes | Metropolitan Police.
