This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader from health or social care who is passionate about driving continuous improvement, influencing best practice and supporting services to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Working as part of our dedicated Quality Assurance Team, you will act as a trusted partner to operational colleagues—providing support, challenge and expert guidance that helps services continually improve while remaining inspection-ready.
Please note that this role involves hybrid working with extensive travel across the UK, including Northern Ireland and Wales
What you will be doing
You will work across a portfolio of services, helping to strengthen quality, compliance and practice by:
- Leading quality audits, inspections and service reviews across regulated services.
- Supporting services to prepare for and achieve successful CQC, CIW, RQIA and Ofsted inspections.
- Monitoring compliance and ensuring improvement actions are completed and embedded.
- Reviewing incidents, investigations and safeguarding concerns to identify root causes and share learning.
- Analysing quality data, trends and risks to drive informed improvements.
- Providing coaching, mentoring and practical support to managers and operational teams.
- Designing and delivering engaging training to build capability and confidence.
- Promoting Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and person-centred approaches across services.
- Reviewing policies, contributing to service improvement programmes and promoting best practice throughout the organisation.
- Building strong relationships with operational leaders while constructively challenging practice where required.
This is a highly visible role where you will influence quality across multiple services and make a genuine difference to the lives of the people we support.
About you
We are looking for someone who combines operational credibility with a passion for continuous improvement.
You will bring:
- Experience in quality assurance, audit, or compliance within a regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g. CQC, RQIA, CIW, Ofsted).
- A track record of driving improvement in social care or similar settings.
- Experience designing and delivering training or coaching programmes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- A genuine commitment to inclusion, diversity, and person-centred care.
As this is a national role, you will also need:
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business travel.
- The ability to travel extensively across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
- Eligibility to undertake an Enhanced DBS check for working with adults and children.
