Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail.
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to complete projects efficiently.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver results that exceed expectations.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly.
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting or decorating roles, demonstrating a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Knowledge of different painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and decorating styles.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members and clients to ensure clear understanding of project scopes.
- Valid driving license with reliable driving skills to navigate between multiple job sites efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating tasks with colleagues and providing excellent customer service.
- Familiarity with safety standards related to painting and decorating work environments.
- CIS Registered (Construction Industry Scheme)
- Own transport and tools required.
