About VP MED
We're VP MED (Vascular Perspectives Ltd) — a specialist medical devices company working in interventional cardiology, radiology and neuroradiology. We partner with leading device manufacturers to bring life-changing technology to hospitals across the UK and Ireland, working closely with clinicians to make sure it's used safely and effectively.
About the role
Are you a life sciences graduate looking to put your scientific knowledge to work beyond the lab? As Product Marketing Coordinator (Clinical), you'll be the clinical backbone of our Product Marketing team — reviewing literature, sense-checking scientific accuracy, and acting as a trusted right hand to our Head of Product Marketing across a broad and varied workload.
You'll own and direct clinical requests coming into the team, make sure every piece of marketing literature is clinically accurate, and turn complex journal articles into clear, one-page summaries the wider business can actually use. You'll also get hands-on with product launches, take on delegated briefs to free up your manager's time for strategic work, and team up with our Clinical Creative Specialist and Digital Operations Lead to help manage workload across Product Marketing.
Expect some travel too — regional and national trips to support product evaluations and launches, extending to international travel for conferences and distributor meetings over time.
Day to day, you'll:
- Act as a reliable right hand to the Head of Product Marketing, taking on delegated briefs and time-intensive tasks with minimal oversight.
- Own and direct clinical requests into and across the Product Marketing team, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Proof read all marketing literature for clinical accuracy, consistency and compliance before publication.
- Review external clinical and scientific literature, interpreting and summarising it into clear one-page summaries.
- Provide hands-on support for product launches, working closely with the Head of Product Marketing and wider team.
- Contribute to fair and effective management of workload across the team, alongside the Clinical Creative Specialist and Digital Operations Lead.
What we're looking for
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences (e.g. biomedical science, physiology, pharmacology, genetics) or a related discipline — 1st or 2:1.
- Ability to interpret and summarise clinical/scientific literature clearly and concisely.
- Strong written English and proof reading skills.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Great to have, but not essential:
- Postgraduate qualification (e.g. MSc) in a life sciences or related discipline.
- Experience in a MedTech, healthcare or pharmaceutical marketing or clinical affairs environment.
- Exposure to marketing literature review or compliance processes.
- Experience supporting product launches.
What you're like
You're naturally curious, with a genuine interest in clinical and scientific subject matter. You have a sharp eye for detail and thrive as part of a wider team. When handling time-sensitive or delegated tasks, you're discreet and reliable - and you stay calm and organised even when priorities compete for your attention.
Why join us
We're a close-knit team where your work is genuinely seen and valued, not lost in a big corporate machine. You'll get real exposure to product launches, clinical literature and the commercial side of MedTech from day one - a rare combination for an early-career role.
Sound like you? We'd love to hear from you - apply today.
