We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Live-In General Assistant to join our guest house team. This is a varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Helping to prepare and serve breakfast
- Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard
- Changing bed linen and towels
- Laundry duties, including washing, drying and folding
- General cleaning and housekeeping around the guest house
- Welcoming guests and assisting with check-ins and check-outs
- Reception duties, answering guest queries and dealing with bookings where required
- Ensuring guests receive a friendly and helpful service
- Helping with general day-to-day duties around the guest house
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and professional
- Reliable, hardworking and organised
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a small team
- Able to provide excellent customer service
- Happy to carry out a range of housekeeping, breakfast and reception duties
- Flexible and willing to help wherever needed
- Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping or guest services is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided
