About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Electrician to join our growing renewable energy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Install solar PV systems in accordance with electrical regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
- Perform electrical wiring, testing, commissioning, and fault-finding on solar installations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing solar systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Complete job reports and documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise professionally with customers, site managers, and team members.
- Assist with battery storage and EV charger installations where required.
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical certification.
- Experience installing and commissioning solar PV systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to work at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Desirable Qualifications
- Solar PV installation certification.
- Experience with battery storage systems.
- EV charging installation experience.
- IPAF, PASMA, or working-at-height certifications.
