Warehouse Operative / Picker / Packer (Fixed Term to Permanent)
Location: Bristol Fruit Market (BS2)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM (37.5 hrs/week)
Plus: 1 Saturday a month on a rota basis, 04:00 – 12:00

Degusta is an independent, successful, and expanding food service company based in Bristol. We deliver fresh produce, ambient goods, and frozen products to a loyal and growing customer base across the region.
We’re looking for a reliable Warehouse Operative / Picker / Packer to join our team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role based on performance, attendance, and overall suitability during the probation period.
Key responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Load and unload vehicles safely
- Receive and check incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage
- Store, rotate, and organise stock on racking and shelving
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
- Assist with stock checks and general warehouse support as required
What we’re looking for
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Picker/packer experience would be an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift and move goods up to 25kg when required
- Good understanding of safe working practices in a warehouse environment
- Team-oriented, dependable, and willing to support the wider operation
- Good communication skills
- UK/EU driving licence preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,300.00-£28,800.00 per year
