Overview
Masons Arms, Meysey Hampton are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team to work full time (7am to 2pm), the job will involve working weekends.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across various facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Experience in cleaning, floor care, and hospitality settings is highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and reliability are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to established standards.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and care for carpets and floors.
- Replenish toiletries, linens, and cleaning supplies.
- Sanitize surfaces and ensure areas are free from dust and debris.
- Carry out deep-cleaning and special cleaning projects when required.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Report maintenance issues or damage.
- Support a positive guest experience through cleanliness and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
- Housekeeping, cleaning, janitorial, or custodial experience.
- Experience in hotels or hospitality settings.
- Knowledge of floor care, polishing, and carpet cleaning.
- Industrial cleaning experience is beneficial.
- Housekeeping supervisory experience is advantageous but not essential.
