The home supports young people aged 10-17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) who may have experienced trauma, attachment disruption or instability. The 3 bed EBD children’s residential home focuses on providing a safe, therapeutic and nurturing environment for young people.
A fully funded pathway to becoming a Registered Manager
One Care Collective Ltd is offering an exciting opportunity to progress into a Registered Manager role within a new children’s residential home.
This role is ideal for an existing Deputy Manager, Senior Residential Staff member, Team Leader, or other experienced professional in children’s care who has the ambition, values, and leadership potential to take the next step in their career.
We can support the right candidate with funded qualifications, including Level 5 where required, and structured development towards a Registered Manager role.

Pre‑Ofsted Responsibilities
You will be supported to:
- Help prepare the home for Ofsted registration
- Contribute to policies, procedures, and compliance systems
- Undertake funded training and qualifications required for registration
- Develop your management capability ahead of registration
Post‑Ofsted Responsibilities
Following registration, as a Registered Manager role you will be responsible for:
- Creating a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment for children
- Leading the day-to-day management of the children’s home
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children at all times
- Maintaining high standards of care, practice, and regulatory compliance
- Supervising, supporting, and developing staff performance
- Overseeing rotas and the smooth operation of the home
- Preparing for and responding to Ofsted inspections
Who this role is for
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Is currently a Deputy Manager, Senior Residential Staff, or Team Leaders within children’s care e.g. residential special schools, residential further education colleges or local authority social workers who have worked in children’s team or as a team manager.
- Wants to progress into a Registered Manager role
- Has strong values, emotional intelligence, and leadership potential
- Is motivated to grow with a new provider
You do not need to be a Registered Manager already but must have senior management experience within a children's care home.
