RS Worldwide is actively looking for an experienced Handyman with a proven track record in carrying out a broad range of repairs in residential properties and/or hotels. We are looking for a committed and responsible person that is looking for a permanent role, with a fixed salary in a reputable company.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Carrying out all sorts of repairs that may be encountered in a hotel property (fixing boilers, electric issues, curtains, showers, doors, toilets, etc.)
- Taking responsibility for the complete fit out of new properties, including installing appliances
- Keeping a log of all repairs and issues that need to be addressed, costing and timings
- Keeping an adequate level of stock of items , repair materials, supplies and ordering new items as needed
- Completing and keeping up to date Health & Safety records for all our properties and our office
Day-to-day activities will include:
- Visiting hotel to fix all outstanding issues
- Responding to new issues as reported by our team
- Communicating with team members, landlords and other people
- Completing Health & Safety records
Requirements
- Common sense and the ability to problem solve
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Diligent work-ethic
- Willingness to communicate outside of office hours
