We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Dental Therapist to join our supportive team for 9 months of full-time maternity cover (4 days/week), with potential for a permanent part-time position for the right candidate.
We are a well-established mixed NHS/private training practice, currently undergoing refurbishment, so the role will be in a modern and welcoming environment.
The role will include a mix of dental therapy and periodontal care, working alongside an experienced and supportive clinical team.
You will be required to provide routine dental treatment, promote good oral health and work collaboratively with dentists and other members of the team.
Experience in implant maintenance and peri-implant care would be favourable.
Duties
- Provide routine dental treatment, including fillings, deciduous extractions and preventive care within the scope of practice.
- Provide patients with oral hygiene, dietary and preventive advice.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and radiographs.
- Follow practice infection control and decontamination procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the wider dental team to provide appropriate patient care.
Experience
- GDC registration as a Dental Therapist.
- Previous experience in a clinical dental setting.
- Good communication skills and a patient-centred approach.

Rate of pay: £30-35/hour depending on experience and private income opportunity also.
Pay: £30.00-£35.00 per hour
