Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform a variety of physical tasks to support construction, maintenance, and site operations. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure projects run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment on-site
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up necessary supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople by carrying out basic tasks such as mixing materials or assembling components
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment
- Transport materials and tools across the site using carts or other equipment
- Perform general site clean up to ensure a tidy and hazard-free workspace
- Help with minor repairs or maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Prior experience in construction or manual labour is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to construction sites is advantageous
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
