Abandoned Storage Auction are seeking a dedicated credit Recovery Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing overdue accounts, engaging with clients to recover outstanding debts, and maintaining accurate records of all interactions. Responsibilities
- Contact clients via phone and email to discuss overdue payments, employing professional phone etiquette at all times.
- Negotiate repayment plans and arrangements that are feasible for clients while ensuring company recovery targets are met.
- Maintain detailed records of all communications with clients using accounting software and data entry systems.
- Analyse account information to determine the most effective recovery strategies.
- Follow up on payment commitments and update account statuses accordingly.
- Collaborate with the accounts payable department to ensure accurate processing of recovered funds.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations during all recovery activities.
- Provide regular reports on recovery progress to management.
Experience
- Previous experience in telemarketing, data entry, or financial services is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and familiarity with accounting software will be advantageous.
- Strong analysis skills to assess client situations and determine appropriate recovery actions.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle sensitive conversations professionally.
- Experience in analysis or debt collection roles will be considered a plus but is not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.

Pay: £25,420.00-£47,922.00 per year
