About The Role
"We are currently recruiting for a FULL FEMALE SUPPORT WORKER to work with our client who has a spinal cord injury living in their own home in the WV10 area of Wolverhampton.
You will be working with our client on a 2-1 basis to build a professional, working relationship and supporting him with activities of daily living, in social and leisure activities at home or in the community.
This post will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
Hours
144 hours per calendar month
Days 7am to 7pm with waking & sleeping nights 7pm to 7am (you will need to be flexible to cover day's, waking & sleeping nights on a rota basis)
Pay Rates
£16.50 per hour Monday to Friday day shifts
£18.00 per hour Saturday to Sunday day shifts
£18.00 per hour Monday to Friday waking night shifts
£19.50 per hour Saturday to Sunday waking night shifts
£11.50 per hour Monday to Sunday sleeping night shifts (4 hours paid at waking night rate)
£12.71 per hour training rate
Skills
- Experience with spinal cord injuries is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with our client and their family
- A valid clean UK manual driving licence is required to drive our clients adapted vehicle.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others are essential qualities for this role.
