Radbrook Dental Practice are looking for a enthusiastic trainee dental nurse to join our team. We can facilitate putting you onto the apprenticeship programme which is fully funded if you have not completed an apprenticeship previously. Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Assistance: Prepare and pass instruments, mix materials, suction water/saliva, and support the dentist during procedures.
- Patient Care: Ensure patient comfort, provide pre/post-operative instructions, and help reduce anxiety.
- Infection Control: Sterilize instruments, decontaminate equipment, and maintain aseptic conditions.
- Surgery Management: Keep the surgery tidy, stock supplies, and manage patient records (including data entry).
- Learning & Development: Commit to self-directed study and formal training to complete the GDC-approved apprenticeship.

Typical Requirements
- Eligibility for government apprenticeship funding (e.g., UK residency).
- Not already holding a similar qualification.
- Ability to achieve required levels in English and Maths.

- Varies from primary to secondary care settings, potentially including mobile units.
- Involves standing/sitting in restricted positions and handling contaminated materials.
This is a full time position and rate of pay depends on your age due to government apprentice wages.
