We are looking for a hard working individual to join our team manufacturing a range of interior blinds.
The ideal candidate will possess strong attention for detail and able to work on own initiative.
This role involves producing, assembling, and inspecting window blinds and according to customer specifications and quality standards. This role involves operating manufacturing equipment, measuring and cutting materials, assembling components, and ensuring finished products meet company requirements.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials for blind production.
- Assemble window blinds, shades, and related components.
- Operate manufacturing machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret work orders and product specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure accuracy and durability.
- Package and label completed orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and material handling as needed.
Required skills
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience is an advantage but not essential as full training given
- Ability to read measurements accurately and use measuring tools.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
