About the Role:
We are currently looking for an experienced Automotive Painter / Prepper to join our busy and professional bodyshop team. You'll be working on a range of vehicles, carrying out high-quality paintwork as part of accident repairs, resprays, or restorations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail, and wants to be part of a well-established and growing company in the motor trade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepping vehicles for paintwork (filler, sanding, masking)
- Mixing and matching colours to manufacturer specifications
- Applying primers, basecoats, and clearcoats using spray guns
- Polishing and finishing to a high standard
- Inspecting completed jobs for quality assurance
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Painter / Vehicle Refinisher (3+ years preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Refinishing or equivalent (ATA accreditation a bonus)
- Excellent knowledge of paint systems and application techniques
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines without compromising quality
- Full UK driving licence preferred
