Gym Team Member - Club 24 Fitness – Bangor
Are you friendly, reliable and passionate about delivering great customer service? We are looking for a motivated Gym Team Member to join our team at Club 24 Fitness Gym Bangor.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the fitness industry. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for our members while helping to ensure the gym operates smoothly on a day to day basis.
Responsibilities
- Welcome members and prospective members in a friendly and professional manner.
- Conduct gym tours and assist with new member sign-ups.
- Respond to membership enquiries in person, by phone and via email.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the gym, including sanitising equipment and keeping all areas tidy.
- Carry out routine administrative duties, including processing memberships and maintaining accurate records.
- Monitor and replenish stock, including cleaning supplies and retail items where applicable.
- Support the Site Manager with the day to day running of the club.
- Promote memberships, offers and gym services to prospective and existing members.
- Ensure the gym is safe, welcoming and operating to company standards at all times.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Skills & Experience
- Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with people.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Organised with good attention to detail.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
- Reliable, punctual and takes pride in maintaining a clean environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous customer service, retail, hospitality or leisure experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
