Sun and Moon breakfast & after school club are looking for Qualified Playworkers/Play leaders.
- Must have Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, Playwork, Teaching Assistant, Education or a related subject
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting .
Must be well-organised, enthusiastic, and flexible with good communication skills.
Location: Dagenham
Start Date: September
Working Hours: Monday-Friday
- Breakfast Club: 7.45am-8.45am
- After School Club: 2:30pm-5:30pm/3pm - 6pm
Playworker Responsibilities
- Supervise children in a safe and engaging environment.
- Plan, prepare and participate in a range of age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts, sports, games, outdoor play and team-building activities.
- Encourage children's confidence, independence and social development.
- Support children with varying needs, ensuring every child feels included.
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety and behaviour management procedures at all times.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Assist with setting up and clearing away activities and equipment.
- Respond appropriately to accidents, incidents or concerns in line with safeguarding procedures.
Pay: £12.71-£13.70 per hour
