Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable CSCS Construction Tutor to deliver high-quality training programmes specialising in construction skills and safety standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing learners for CSCS assessments, providing practical and theoretical instruction, and supporting students in developing their construction expertise. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and informative lessons on construction topics, including plumbing, health & safety, and other relevant trades
- Prepare learners for CSCS assessments by providing comprehensive theoretical and practical training
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Develop customised learning plans tailored to individual needs and skill levels
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment outcomes
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, curriculum developments, and best teaching practices
- Organise training sessions using IT tools and resources to enhance learning experiences
Experience
- Proven experience in teaching or training within the construction industry or related fields
- Strong knowledge of CSCS requirements, health & safety regulations, and construction practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly in English
- Experience in plumbing or other specialised trades is desirable but not essential
- Familiarity with IT systems used for educational purposes and organisational management
- Demonstrated organisational skills to plan lessons effectively and manage learner progress efficiently

Pay: £97.68-£285.35 per day
