About New City Motorcycles
New City Motorcycles is one of the South East’s premier used motorcycle and scooter dealerships. Following our successful relocation from London to our modern Rayleigh showroom, we now retail thousands of bikes per year. We pride ourselves on the quality of our stock—each bike is meticulously inspected and valeted—and we are committed to making sure that "Aftersales is not an afterthought."
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a reliable, proactive, and professional Aftersales coordinator to take full ownership of the post-purchase customer journey.
The Role
This isn't just an admin job; you will be the face and voice of our commitment to our customers. You will manage the entire after-sales process, ensuring that every rider who buys from us feels supported, valued, and safe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive Communication: Managing all customer follow-up phone calls to ensure total satisfaction.
- Warranty Management: Taking full lead on warranty claims, ensuring they are dealt with efficiently while keeping the customer updated every step of the way.
- Rapid Response: Monitoring incoming emails and WhatsApp messages to provide quick, professional solutions to any problems or queries.
- Internal Liaison: Working closely with our sales and workshop teams throughout the day to ensure a joined-up approach.
- Quality Control: Ensuring the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) sheet and video are completed for every single sale before the bike leaves the showroom.
- Upselling Opportunities: Identifying opportunities to upsell extended warranty plans to provide customers with long-term peace of mind.
Who We Are Looking For
We need a professional who is as passionate about customer service as we are about bikes. You should be:
- A Brilliant Communicator: Able to handle difficult conversations with empathy and resolve issues professionally.
- Highly Organised: Capable of managing multiple warranty claims and follow-ups in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive: You don’t wait for problems to come to you; you monitor channels and reach out first.
- Reliable & Trustworthy: You will be managing a vital part of our business and must be someone we can count on.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using WhatsApp, email, and internal systems to document and record PDI videos.
- Experience: Must have experience in Automotive Aftersales.
- Licence: Motorcycle licence preferred but not required.
