Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner with breakfast assistance to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards across guest rooms and communal areas, as well as providing a warm breakfast service to our guests. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable, along with janitorial skills. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, customer-focused setting where attention to detail and professionalism are valued.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas in accordance with established standards
- Change bed linen, replenish supplies, and ensure all rooms are welcoming and comfortable for guests
- Assist with preparing and serving breakfast, ensuring a high standard of presentation and service
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas during breakfast service
- Restock cleaning supplies and organise storage areas efficiently
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service skills ideal
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Flexibility to work mornings, including early starts for breakfast service also Sundays
- A friendly attitude with excellent communication skills
- Training will be provided for the right candidate
Pay: £15.00 per hour
