Job Description:
FMP Ltd is a small, farm-based engineering firm looking for a dependable and efficient Production/Warehouse Operative to become part of our team.
In this role, you will support the seamless operation of our production processes and warehouse functions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assembling and manufacturing products efficently in line with customer specifications and quality standards
- Operating machinery and equipment to fulfill orders efficiently
- Keeping the workspace, including the warehouse and production areas, well-organized
- Receiving, inspecting, and storing goods and materials in the warehouse
- Conducting quality control checks and reporting any defects or issues in production
Candidate Requirements:
- Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under time constraints is required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards is required.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team is required
- Capable of working independently when necessary is required.
- Familiarity with working to precise measurements is preferred, But training will be provided.
Additional Notes:
- Forklift experience desirable
- Own transport is preferred due to our rural location
