We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar and tables
- Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar team
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Restock supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and respond to any enquiries or requests
- Assist in setting up and clearing the bar area before and after shifts
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure hygiene standards are maintained
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments is required
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing demands
- Personable nature with excellent communication skills
