The role…
Due to continued growth, we are always looking for Operatives to join our team working 4-shift on 12- hour patterns incorporating days, nights, and weekends. this role has set holidays to allow for machine maintenance.
How you’ll make an impact…
- Productivity generally and individually in terms of output, efficiency, product quality and timekeeping this will require a good knowledge of the department your working in.
- Abide by set times for Shift change over and break times minimising downtime.
- Liaise with other departments where necessary i.e. ,converting, Technical and maintenance.
- Advise supervisor if there are any issues with production/customer orders/quality etc.
- Be aware of orders being processed and ensure On Time Delivery (OTD) of these.
- Attend and participate in shift-based shop floor meetings, raising and escalating potential obstacles in achieving agreed daily targets.
- Training –involved/identifying needs.
- Adhere to company processes and policy
- Being involved with health and safety.

- Experience in a similar role ( desirable)
- Supervisor experience (desirable)
- Strong communication skills.
- Papermaking experience (desirable)
- Ability to work well in a team as well as on your own.
- Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task and have a solution focused approach.
