Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying plaster to interior and exteriour surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications.
This role requires a strong background in plastering/rendering and plasterboarding to contribute to diverse new and existing builds. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and various building techniques, maintaining safety and efficiency onsite. Only trades people to apply!
Duties
- Applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces with precision and attention to detail to achieve smooth finishes.
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding and repairing as necessary before plaster application.
- Mixing plaster materials accurately according to specification.
- Operating power tools safely for cutting, mixing and applying plaster or related materials.
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and project standards.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area throughout the job process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plastering, masonry, or related trades.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, bricklaying, carpentry, roofing, and welding techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail and quality finish.
- A commitment to safety procedures and best practices on site.
- A valid driving license and own transport is a must.
Experience
- Proven experience in plastering or related trades such as rendering and plasterboarding.
- Experience with hand tools including trowels, floats and chisels.
- Experience operating power tools safely in a construction environment.
- Ability to read techincal drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately.
