Position Overview:
Thom Sweeney is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Retail Operations Associate to support our retail operations team at our flagship store in Mayfair, London. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our store operations, including inventory management, and coordination with our warehouse in Essex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day store operations, ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
- Maintain the store's cleanliness and visual merchandising standards to create an inviting shopping environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure product availability.
- Assist in receiving and unpacking new merchandise, conducting quality checks, and tagging products with accurate information.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to organize and maintain inventory at both the flagship store and warehouse locations.
- Manage end to end logistics for The Townhouse, coordinating time sensitive shipments and collections through key carriers including DHL and Addison Lee, ensuring accurate dispatch, tracking, and delivery completion in line with operational deadline.
- Participate in periodic stock-taking and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock records.
- Assist in managing online orders, and coordinating with the warehouse for order fulfilment and shipping.
- Provide administrative support, including maintaining records, filing, and preparing reports as required.
- Flexibility to work at both the flagship store in Mayfair and the warehouse in Essex as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using basic computer applications.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy items as required.
- A keen interest in luxury menswear and fashion trends is a plus.
